Komisi XII DPR melakukan kunjungan kerja di PT Timah Tbk di Pangkalpinang, Senin (11/8/2025) ANTARA/HO-Humas PT Timah Tbk.

Pangkalpinang (ANTARA) – Komisi XII DPR Republik Indonesia melakukan kunjungan kerja di PT Timah Tbk Kota Pangkalpinang Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, sebagai langkah memperbaiki tata kelola pertimahan nasional.

"Kunjungan ke PT Timah kali ini untuk memperbaiki tata kelola timah secara nasional," kata Ketua Komisi XII DPR Bambang Patijaya di Pangkalpinang, Selasa.

Ia mengatakan dalam pertemuan kali ini, Komisi XII DPR memberikan masukan yang konstruktif dalam upaya perbaikan tata kelola timah secara nasional, sehingga bisa memberikan dampak kesejahteraan masyarakat, kontribusi bagi negara dan pelestarian lingkungan yang berkelanjutan.

"Hari ini Komisi XII melaksanakan kunker reses ke PT Timah yang turut dihadiri para stakeholder, tujuannya agar pertimahan ini dapat kembali pulih yang dalam pelaksanaan pertambangan dapat melibatkan masyarakat," ujarnya.

Menurut dia dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam penambangan ini, maka nantinya tidak perlu kucing-kucingan lagi untuk menambang terkait persoalan hukum karena bisa diakomodir.

"Kita ingin tidak ada lagi penambangan timah ilegal di Bangka Belitung ini," katanya.

Direktur Utama PT Timah Restu Widiyantoro menyampaikan apresiasi atas dukungan dari Komisi XII DPR RI yang telah membantu PT Timah untuk terus meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan.

"Kami mengucapkan terima kasih atas dukungan yang telah dilakukan kepada PT Timah dan diharapkan sinergi ini dapat terus terjalin dan PT Timah telah melaksanakan sejumlah langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dalam meningkatkan perekonomian nasional dan daerah ini," katanya.

Kunjungan kerja Komisi XII DPR yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Komisi XII DPR RI Bambang Patijaya ini dihadiri Deputi Bidang Pelayanan Penanaman Modal Kementerian Investasi dan Hilirisasi MIND ID Iwan Suryana, Direktur Utama PT Timah Restu Widiyantoro.

Direktur Pelayanan Perizinan Berusaha Sektor Non Industri Kementerian Investasi dan Hilirisasi Raharjo Siswohartono, Direktur Pengusahaan Mineral Kementerian ESDM, Cecep Mohamad Yasin, Deputi Bidang Pengendalian Pencemaran dan Kerusakan Lingkunagan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Rasio Ridho Sani.

Ketua umum Asosiasi Ekspor Timah Indonesia Harwendro Adityo Dewanto dan Direktur Utama JFX Stephanus Paulus Lumintang, Asisten Administrasi Umum di Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Yunan Helmi.
